November concert season
The staged, ticketed production every enrolled dancer performs in at the end of the year, on a real theatre stage.
Every class, from tiny tots to the senior exam stream, has a number in the November concert. It is staged with proper lighting and a technical crew, not a studio showing, because the whole point of technique is that it eventually meets an audience. Rehearsals build through terms three and four, with a full technical week before opening night.

Step by step, in this order
Every class: Two performances, one weekend each November. You always know which part you are on.

Is the concert compulsory?
It is included in most class fees and almost every class takes part, but a family can opt out of the concert component if a term-only enrolment is what they need.
Where is the concert held?
We hire the Foreshore Theatre for the November season, with a full lighting rig and a technical crew rather than staging it in the studio.
